on June 4, 2016An extraordinary sequence of 12 photographs depicting a Lilac-breasted Roller with a "Red Roman" bug (only has six legs so not a spider) in its beak disappearing into a hole in a Dead Leadwood tree to feed it to its young - re-emerging only to repeat the procedure again - captured thanks to a high framerate camera and good sunlit conditions. What a privilege to have witnessed from behind the lens.
