This turned out to be an extraordinary safari. Early one morning at 05:44 to be exact, we had arrived at Tshukudu dam. Simultaneously we saw a pride of wild dogs start coming into view from the west. Wild dogs are highly endangered and a rare sighting so to our great delight all 23 dogs trotted into view. They soon settled all around us - some as close as two metres from our game drive vehicle. We witnessed them frolicking around, grooming each other and catching 40 winks. Over the next hour, we were there alone without another vehicle in sight. A once in a lifetime viewing never to be forgotten. Obviously this provided to opportunity to capture some really great pics.
